1. Service Description & Store Fulfilment

Joudi operates an electronic marketplace platform that connects consumers with certified local fruit and vegetable retail shops in Jordan. Orders placed via the Joudi App are assigned to and fulfilled by the nearest certified partner store that has complete item availability. Joudi provides the technology infrastructure, catalogue management, payment handling, and delivery dispatch logistics.

2. Account Registration & Security

• Users must provide an active mobile phone number capable of receiving SMS One-Time Passwords (OTP).
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
• Joudi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to engage in fraudulent orders, abusive behavior, or policy violations.

3. Produce Quality, Grades & Pricing

Joudi implements a transparent grading standard for applicable produce items:

• First Choice (النخب الأول): Top-tier selection, premium size, consistency, and finest freshness.
• Second Choice (النخب الثاني): Fresh everyday quality at an economical price point.
• Prices displayed in the app are in Jordanian Dinars (JOD) and are inclusive of daily central market tariff updates.

4. Ordering & Dispatch Process

• Once an order is submitted, it is routed to an approved partner grocery store for immediate inspection and packing.
• Upon store packing, the system assigns a delivery captain to transport the refrigerated order directly to your pinned address.
• Customers can track the real-time stage of their order (Pending → Preparing → Out for Delivery → Delivered).

5. Payment Methods & Digital Wallet

• Cash on Delivery (COD): Customers pay the exact invoice amount directly to the delivery captain upon inspecting their receipt.
• Digital Wallet & Vouchers: Customers may use their in-app wallet balance to settle orders or apply discount promotional vouchers before checkout.

6. Cancellation, Refunds & Quality Complaints

• Order Cancellation: A customer may cancel an order free of charge as long as the partner store has not yet accepted and commenced packing.
• Quality Disputes & Returns Window: Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce, any dispute regarding item quality, missing items, or grade mismatch must be reported within 24 hours of delivery via the in-app Complaints Feature or by contacting customer support.
• Refund Settlements: Upon verifying a valid quality complaint, Joudi will issue an immediate refund credit to your in-app Digital Wallet or dispatch a replacement.

7. Limitation of Liability

Joudi strives to ensure uninterrupted service and maximum produce freshness. However, Joudi shall not be held liable for temporary service interruptions due to force majeure, extreme weather disruptions, or road closures. In all circumstances, Joudi’s total aggregate liability is limited to the value of the specific order in dispute.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The competent courts of Amman (Palace of Justice) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal dispute.
